MATTHEW DESIRES CHILDREN AND A BETTER CAREER. BUT HIS CHOICES ARE AFFECTED BECAUSE HE STILL BELIEVES THE END WILL COME AT ANY MOMENT.
HE IS TOLD THAT SOME PEOPLE BORN PRIOR TO 1914 WILL STILL BE ALIVE WHEN ARMAGEDDON ARRIVES,
AND SINCE THEY ARE NOW IN THEIR LATE 70'S OR OLDER, THE END MUST BE SOON.
