HOWEVER, HE IS STILL LED TO BELIEVE THAT THE END IS BUT A FEW YEARS AWAY, TO BE EXPECTED BEFORE THE YEAR 2000, AND SO HIS GOALS FOR THIS SYSTEM REMAIN SHORT TERM.
